The third stage of the collaborative development of a platform promoting healthy eating by creating a data-driven food system was presented today at Sofialab. "Health and healthy eating is my cause. Part of the initiatives I am working on is supporting Bulgarian beekeepers. I recommend including honey in the recipes generated by this platform, as an important factor in healthy eating," said Ekaterina Yordanova, Chair of the Board of Sofia Development Association and municipal councillor in the Sofia Municipality.

The creation of this platform is implemented by Innova Living, Institute of Technology and Development and Sofia Development Association. Design workshops are the main method of citizen and user participation throughout the process of identifying the problem, building the structure and interface of the site, discussing and upgrading various functionalities. SofiaLab is part of the European Living Lab Network, through which citizens participate in the creation of innovations that make our lives easier.

The next demo meeting is expected in November, when we will be able to demonstrate the full functionality of the platform.
